Bloomshot is a free physics puzzle game we built for the browser. Tiny glowing critters are stuck inside crystal bubbles on top of wooden, stone and glass towers. Pull back the slingshot, let go, and bring the towers down to set them free.
It starts in seconds, plays with one finger on a phone or a mouse on a PC, and there is nothing to install or sign up for.
Play Bloomshot now
Drag back anywhere on the game, aim with the dotted line, and let go. Sound starts off; tap the speaker to turn it on.
How to play in 30 seconds
Your goal on every level is to pop every crystal bubble. A bubble pops when something hits it hard enough: your pod, a falling plank or a toppling stone block. Each level gives you a few pods, and you earn up to three stars for clearing it with pods to spare.
- Aim: drag back anywhere on the screen. The further you pull, the harder the shot. A dotted line shows the first part of the flight.
- Shoot: let go. On a keyboard, use the Up and Down arrows for the angle, Left and Right for power, and Space to launch.
- Use a pod’s power: some pods do something extra if you tap while they fly.
| Pod | What it does | Best against |
|---|---|---|
| Seed | A solid all-rounder | Wood and glass |
| Triple | Tap mid-flight to split into three | Wide towers and glass |
| Boulder | Heavy, no power to trigger | Stone blocks |
| Burst | Tap mid-flight to blast everything nearby | Clusters of bubbles |
Wood breaks after a hit or two, glass shatters easily, and stone takes a heavy pod or a long fall. Watch the cracks: every block shows its damage before it gives way.
Why you will want to come back tomorrow
Bloomshot has three worlds of eight levels each: Dawn Meadow, Amber Canyon and Moonlit Grove, with new pods arriving as you go. Clearing a level unlocks the next, and every star you earn stays on your map.
Each critter you free joins your garden. There are 36 species to find, from common meadow critters to 12 rare ones that only appear in the daily garden. Locked species show as a silhouette, so you always know what is left to find.
The daily garden is a new level every day, and it is the same level for everyone who plays that day. Clear it on consecutive days to build a streak. Your stars, best scores, streak and critters are saved on this device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Challenge a friend
When you clear a level, the result screen lets you challenge a friend. Your link carries your score and the shots you took, so when your friend opens it they see “Beat 42,300” and your shots drawn as a dotted line over the level. If they beat you, they can send a challenge straight back.
You can also save a short replay clip of your best shot, or a score card picture, to post wherever you like. Both are made on your device, and nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it.
Tips for three stars
- Hit the base, not the roof. A tower that loses its bottom pillar falls on its own bubbles, and falling blocks pop bubbles too.
- Save the Burst for clusters. Its blast hits everything nearby, so wait until two or three bubbles sit close together.
- Split the Triple early on wide targets. Tapping near the top of the arc spreads the three pods across more of the tower.
- Use the Boulder on stone. Light pods bounce off stone blocks; the Boulder pushes them over.
- Watch the cracks. A cracked block needs only a nudge, so a lighter shot can finish it.
- Every level can be cleared. Before a level reaches you, our solver plays it and confirms there is a way through with the pods you have.
What makes Bloomshot different
We built Bloomshot around what made the biggest mobile games stick: one simple gesture, clear goals, a satisfying crash, and a reason to return. We left out what players complain about most: there are no ads inside the game, no purchases, no energy timers and no signup.
The physics are deterministic. The same shot always produces the same collapse, which makes it fair and lets your friend’s challenge show exactly the shots you took. The game runs its own rigid-body physics engine compiled to WebAssembly, solves each daily level in a background Web Worker, and renders the scene with WebGL2 lighting, shadows and soft glow, all from a single page with no outside requests.

Frequently asked questions
Is Bloomshot free?
Yes. Bloomshot is free to play in your browser, with no ads inside the game, no purchases and no account. Every level and every critter can be earned by playing.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The whole game is one small web page that runs on this page. It works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari with WebGL2 turned on.
Can I play Bloomshot on my phone?
Yes. Drag back with one finger to aim and let go to shoot, and tap while a pod flies to use its power. It plays in portrait or landscape, and landscape shows more of each level at once.
Is Bloomshot like Angry Birds?
It shares the slingshot-and-towers idea that Angry Birds made famous, and adds a critter collection, a daily level for everyone and challenge links with your shots. Bloomshot is an original game made by our team. It is not affiliated with Rovio or any other publisher, and it uses none of their characters, art or sounds.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Stars, best scores, your streak and your critter garden are saved in this browser on this device. Clearing your browser data resets them, and nothing is stored on a server.
